EngineVPN is built to protect privacy, not to enable harm. This policy describes prohibited uses. It applies to Consumer VPN and Agentic VPN alike, and breaking it may lead to suspension. This is a plain-language template and not legal advice.
1. General principle
Use the service lawfully, and don't use it in ways that damage others, the network, or its reputation. Privacy is not a shield for abuse.
2. Prohibited activity
- Attacks on systems: denial-of-service, intrusion, port scanning, or credential stuffing against networks you don't own or have permission to test.
- Malware and fraud: distributing malware, phishing, carding, or other deceptive or fraudulent schemes.
- Spam and abuse: bulk unsolicited messaging, or abuse that gets exit IPs blocklisted.
- Illegal content: anything involving the exploitation of minors, or content otherwise illegal where you operate.
- Rights infringement: large-scale infringement of intellectual property.
- Circumventing limits: evading usage caps, rate limits, or account restrictions.
3. Agentic-specific rules
Automated workloads must respect target sites' terms and applicable law. Don't use rotating exits to evade bans imposed for abusive behavior, to scrape data you're not permitted to access, or to overwhelm a service. Throttle responsibly and identify your traffic where required.
4. Network protection
We may apply rate limits and other live safeguards to protect performance for everyone. Activity that threatens stability or the reputation of our exit ranges may be limited or blocked in real time.
5. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the network, email abuse@enginevpn.com. Because we run a no-logs service, we act on live, in-memory signals rather than stored activity histories.
6. Consequences
Violations may result in warnings, rate limiting, suspension, or termination, depending on severity. We aim to be proportionate and to act against clear abuse, not legitimate privacy use.
7. Changes
We may update this policy and will post changes here with a revised date.
