These Terms govern your use of EngineVPN. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. This is a plain-language template and not legal advice.
1. The service
EngineVPN provides an encrypted VPN for personal use (Consumer VPN) and a programmable VPN for automated workloads (Agentic VPN). Features, regions, and limits may change as we improve the network.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at security@enginevpn.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use EngineVPN lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Using the service to attack networks, distribute malware, infringe rights, or evade the law is prohibited and may result in suspension.
4. Plans, billing, and trials
- Consumer plans are billed in advance for the chosen period. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before they end.
- Agentic usage is metered and billed in arrears by the gigabyte, plus any committed minimums you select.
- Taxes may apply depending on your location.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from the dashboard. Consumer plans remain active until the end of the paid period. Refund eligibility, where offered, is described at checkout and in our help center.
6. Fair use and network health
We may apply reasonable measures to protect performance and stability for everyone, including rate limits and action against abuse. We aim to apply these transparently.
7. Availability
We work hard on uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upstream issues, or events beyond our control may cause downtime. Any service-level commitments will be stated separately.
8. Intellectual property
EngineVPN and its software, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the apps and API as intended. "WireGuard" is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld and is referenced for compatibility only.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. A VPN improves privacy and security but is not a guarantee of anonymity, and you remain responsible for how you use it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EngineVPN is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the network. You may stop using the service at any time.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your service agreement, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
